Melissa David, O.D.
Dr. David is a native of Bay City and is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide eye care services to Tawas and the surrounding areas. She had spent many summers in Tawas growing up while staying at her family’s cottage, and has grown to love the area and surrounding community. She is a 1998 graduate from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University.
Dr. David has been a practicing optometrist for 23 years in the Tri-City area. She has experience in different types of practice settings. She has also traveled many miles to provide eye care to residents of several nursing homes, including here in Tawas. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, and the Michigan Optometric Association.
Dr. David has been married to her husband, Trevor, for 24 years, and they have four children. She is an active mom and enjoys spending time with her family, outdoor recreation, hunting, fishing, and watching her children’s sporting events. She will operate New Vision Family Eyecare with her top priority being to give you and your family quality eye care and service.
Todd Davis
Todd is our Office Manager, Optician, and Biller. His customer service skills and smile make for a winning combination. Todd has worked in multiple aspects of the optical field for nearly 9 years. He has a practiced eye for finding frames that compliment everyone and the knowledge to make sure that your lenses will fit your needs and lifestyle.
Todd has been married to his wife, Stephanie, for 4 years – they have one son and 3 active dogs. Todd enjoys riding his Harley, camping, bowling, golfing, and spending time with his family.
Jodi Vetter 
Jodi is our receptionist and the newest addition to our family! She is the first smiling face you will see when you come to visit us. Jodi is new to the optical world, but is catching on quickly and enjoys learning things each day. Get in touch with her to schedule your appointments now!
Jodi has lived in the area for the last 7 years and has 3 kids. She loves to spend time on the beach and loves our lakes. She is friendly and eager to get to know people.
